Day 1 - Arrival in Zanzibar

Welcome to Zanzibar! Upon arrival at either the airport or marine port, you will be warmly greeted by our driver who will transfer you to your chosen accommodation. You can opt for either a Stone Town Hotel to immerse yourself in the historical atmosphere, or a Beach Hotel to start your relaxation immediately. Check in, rest, and enjoy your first dinner in paradise.

Day 2 - City Stone Town and Prison Island Tour

After morning breakfast at your accommodation, your guide will pick you up at around 9:00 AM to begin exploring the old historical Stone Town. This 3-4 hour walking tour covers:

• Former slave market and Anglican church built in 1871
• Town's old market bustling with local life
• Zanzibar Memorial Museum
• House of Wonders (Beit-Al-Ajab) built in 1883
• Old Arab Fort and Palace Museum
• Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center)
• Maruhubi Palace Ruins
• Livingstone House

After lunch at a local restaurant, at 2:30 PM you'll board a boat to Prison Island:

• Home to Aldabra Giant Tortoises, some over 100 years old
• Amazing beaches with reef sanctuary
• Perfect for swimming and snorkeling
• Beach relaxation time
• Enjoy the sunset on your boat ride back

Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 - Safari Blue Boat Trip

This full day is dedicated to the famous Safari Blue experience. After breakfast, you'll be picked up for this ocean adventure:

• Sail on a traditional dhow exploring Menai Bay
• Visit multiple sandbanks in the Indian Ocean
• Dolphin watching (Menai Bay is their favorite spot)
• Snorkeling in crystal-clear waters
• Sunbathing at Kwale Sandbank
• Seafood barbecue lunch on Kwale Island featuring grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken, and coconut rice

The tour can be private or shared based on your preference. Return to your accommodation in the evening.

Day 4 - Spice Tour and Jozani Forest

Morning (09:00 AM): Depart for the famous spice farms where Zanzibar earned its nickname "Spice Island":

• See and taste fresh tropical fruits
• Explore various spice plantations
• Learn about spices used in cooking, cosmetics, and medicine
• Understand the cultivation and processing of spices
• Enjoy a traditional spiced lunch at the farm

Afternoon (2:30 PM): Continue to Jozani Forest National Park:

• Walking tour in the natural forest
• Encounter the famous endangered Red Colobus Monkeys
• Walk through the mangrove forest boardwalk
• Learn about the unique ecosystem

Return to your lodging for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 - Full Day Beach Relaxation

Today is your well-deserved lazy day! Perfect for beach hotel guests, spend your time:

• Relaxing on pristine white sand beaches
• Swimming in warm turquoise waters
• Enjoying the tropical scenery
• Optional water sports (at your own expense)
• Sunbathing and reading

For Stone Town Hotel guests, you can:

• Enjoy shopping in the historic markets
• Take leisurely walks through Stone Town
• Visit Forodhani Gardens in the evening
• Watch the sunset (optional sunset dhow cruise available)
• Experience Forodhani night market with fresh seafood and local delicacies

Day 6 - Departure

After enjoying your 6-day beach holiday in Zanzibar, this is your departure day. Following your flight or ferry schedule, you'll be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to the airport or marine port for your journey home or to your next destination. Take with you wonderful memories of the Spice Island!
