3 Days, Zanzibar

You'll be met and greeted at Zanzibar's airport or harbor, then transferred to Tembo Hotel or similar accommodation in the heart of Stone Town, a good base for exploring the island's cultural capital. Spend the afternoon exploring the narrow streets or relaxing at the hotel. Dinner is at the hotel.

Pickup from your hotel is at 8:30am for the drive to Fumba Village and your guided Safari Blue Boat Tour, a full day on the water that includes:

• Visiting different sand banks in the Indian Ocean
• A stop at a pristine sandbank for a seafood lunch
• Snorkeling in clear water among colorful tropical fish
• A chance to spot dolphins in their natural habitat
• Time on the sandbank to relax and soak up the sun

You'll return to your hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your final day is a half-day guided tour of Stone Town, known locally as Mji Mkongwe, the most famous town in Zanzibar, with winding narrow streets and beautiful architecture. The tour includes:

• The House of Wonders, the largest and tallest building in Stone Town
• The Old Dispensary, with its unique carved balconies
• The Old Fort, built by Omanis in the 17th century
• The former slave market site and museum
• Colorful bazaars and spice markets
• The old harbor with its traditional dhows
• The Anglican Cathedral, built on the slave market site
• A fruit and spice market tour

In the evening, I'll transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
